What I'm taking to Bali

In about a weeks time, I'll be making my way to beautiful Bali and I cannot wait!!, Im going with my husbands family and we will be staying there for 7 days in 2 different locationOf course there will be a lot of moving around so my best friend will be the banana boat sunscreen in SPF +50 for my body and face. During the day, make up will be a no show, since it is quite hot there at the moment, and No one likes a panda face in photos.

But for the evenings , I decided to pack minimal and keep things simple. I'm taking my Loreal true match foundation in shade D3.W3 golden beige which is very easy to blend with either brush or fingers and goes from a liquid to powder finish so no powder needed. I had tried this foundation a while ago in my teen years and It didn't work for me at all but when I repurchased it last year, I felt as if they had improved the formula and I've loved it since. It's a great everyday foundation and it gives a lovely finish without looking too matte (a girls' gotta glow you know!). I'll be taking my M.A.C bronzer in golden to bronze me up for when I need more colour  and this one isnt very shimmery at all even though you can see a bit of shimmer it in the pan.

The concealer I'll take is my M.A.C pro longwear concealer in NC30 to keep my peepers looking awake and fresh. It can double for extra coverage if need around my cheeks and any blemishes that decide not to take a holiday as well.

Hourglass ambient lighting blush in disffused heat. Need I say more?! This blush is so beautiful and very easy to wear. It provides the perfect amount of glow as well so no highlighter neccessary. When I bought this blush, the sales assistant told me it was very simialr to the Nars blush Orgasm, so if you have used tht before you will definitely like this one. I blend it in with a big fluffy natural hair brush as this will pick up less of the product and trust me a little can go a long way.
What else does a girl need?

She needs a all in one eye shadow pallete. For me it's the Bobbi Brown rich chocolate palette as it has everything. The slender pack has a few matte shades and a pinky brown shimmer for a one sweep over the lid and go shade. The dark brown matte can double as a liner so that's one less thing to worry about. For mascara, waterproof is always best and at the moment I'm really enjoying the L'oreal false lash wings. I'm getting used to the brush of this mascara as there is a technique to it, the shorter bristles are to ad volume to the inner lashes while the longer bristles add height to the outer lashes, giving you a cat eye effect.

For lips I'm keeping it quite simple and limiting it to 2 formulations but similar shades since it will mostly come of when I eat or drink and I probably won't have time to worry about what it looks like when I'll be devouring all that yummy food. My favourite nude is the M.A.C lipstick in Brave that has a satin finish and the Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in colour 205
(and a rather long name:elusive insaissable?!). Both are very easy to apply and the Revlon colour burst is slightly more pinkier.

For my nails, ill stick to my favourite which is the Essie nail varnish in Lady Like. I can wear thiws any time of the wear and will go with everything. easy peasy.

And that's it!! Very easy light make up that can be done in under 10 minutes and can easily achieve a more bolder look by  taking a red if that is what you fancy.

I will definitely put up photos of Bali with what we did and what we ate so stay tuned for the next couple of weeks, and there could be another location that I might just post up for those deciding to go on a romantic getaway (insert wink).
